2008

Terms of Reference for an Area Structure Plan (ASP) approved by Peachland Council.



2009

Terms of Reference for an Area Structure Plan (ASP) approved by Peachland Council

Background studies and due diligence work completed

Site and infrastructure planning work commenced

Preliminary discussions with approving agencies and community



2010

Preliminary community consultation (informal) begins

Preliminary site plan completed

First formal public information meeting (PIM) held October 26

Area Structure Plan and concurrent Official Community Plan amendment application submitted in December.



2011

Ongoing public consultation, January-April, including Peachland Chamber, Economic Development Committee, arts community, Rotary, seniors groups and Seniors Housing Society, Peachland Historical Society, Sportsman’s club and others

Formal public information meetings were held March 2nd, April 5th, April 30th.

Public Hearing held May 12th with very strong public support indicated.

June 14, 2011 - Council votes unanimously to adopt the New Monaco plan into its Official Community Plan.

Ongoing planning and design infrastructure through the summer and fall of 2011 in support of future zoning and Phased Development Agreement applications.



2012-2014

Early in 2012 - submission of zoning application in conjunction with complete public consultation process

Site subdivision application, following completion of zoning approvals

Upon subdivision, detailed design work leading to a site by site Development Permit approval process

Target for commencement of construction - 2015
