Paul Tsang, President

Paul has been recognized by the Alberta Legislature for outstanding contribution to the service sector with the development of numerous successful hospitality projects including restaurants and hotels. Paul’s extensive real estate experience includes, commercial, residential, and industrial ventures since 1980.

Mark Holland, MCIP, LEED AP - Partner, Board of Advisors

Mark Holland holds professional degrees in both Landscape Architecture, and Community and Regional Planning – and has dedicated his career to pursuing urban planning innovations in sustainability, health promotion, urban food systems and creating places that people love to be in.

Mark has worked as a city planner in the City of Vancouver, and was the first Manager of its Sustainability Office. He then co-founded two consulting companies over 10 years, both of whom were recognized nationally as leaders in innovative planning.

In 2011, after a decade of consulting, he joined New Monaco LP as Vice President of Development.

Mark serves on the boards of many organizations including the Urban Development Institute in the Okanagan.

Business in Vancouver magazine named Mark one of Vancouver’s Top 40 under 40. A few years later, in 2010, he was named BC’s Planner of the Year by the Planning Institute of BC. In 2013, he was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contributions to field of sustainability and planning for Canadian municipalities.

Jeff Scarlett, CA – Partner, Chief Financial Officer

Jeff began his career 22 years ago with Deloitte, a leading professional services firm providing audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory services with 58 offices throughout Canada and affiliations worldwide. Jeff became a partner at Deloitte Edmonton specialized in tax consultation in the late 80’s. Jeff’s business and professional aptitude created demand for Jeff to expand his career horizon into business management and investment. In 2009, Jeff joined Pennock Acheson Nielsen Devaney as director and partner, an accounting firm with over 50 consultants servicing a vast roster of well-known businesses. Jeff’s rich experience provides valuable tax and financial planning advice to the project and the investors of New Monaco.

Wayne Wallace, Partner, Board of Advisors

Wayne is the principal and founder of Dawson Wallace Construction Ltd., a company founded in 1987. With offices both in Edmonton and Calgary, the company has enjoyed significant success with a current annual volume in the range of $300 million. On Site Magazine awarded his firm top 100 contractors in Canada in 2007 and he was awarded the 2001 Employer Award by the Calgary Board of Education.

Tom Fath, Partner, Board of Advisors

Tom is the President of “the Fath group of Companies” which include O’hanlon Paving, which has served North Alberta for 50 years. O'Hanlon has three asphalt plants, a soil cement plant and a crew of over 500. has also served as director at the following associations: Alberta Construction safety Ass. (ACSA), Alberta Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Ass (ARHCA) and the Edmonton Construction Association.

Robert Gilles, Partner, Board of Advisors

Robert Gilles is co-owner and senior VP of All Weather Windows, Canada's largest Canadian-owned window and door company, with a plant in Ontario and a plant in Edmonton employing a labour force of over 700. In 2009 the Financial Post named All Weather Windows one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies. The company is also known for it's excellence in environmental standards and practices.

Kin Ho, Partner, Board of Advisors

Kin Ho is the President of Ho and Laviolette Engineering Ltd. a structural and architectural consulting firm in Alberta since the early 80’s. Kin Ho has designed a variety of projects including retail and commercial, schools, hospitals, industrial, recreational, residential apartment complexes and assisted living condo complexes.

Chris Curtola, Corporate Administration / Head Office

Chris brings experience from the business & technology sector; working with Group Telecom, who launched Canada’s first coast to coast fibre optic network. In 2005, Chris won the Edmontonians Magazine award as one of Edmonton's Sizzling 20 under 30, for his entrepreneurial success and community work. Chris is the Past President of the Junior Chamber in Edmonton, which consists of over 150 professionals and entrepreneurs under the age of 40. Under Chris’s leadership, the Edmonton Junior Chamber have become the 2nd largest chapter in Canada. He will be the President of the Canadian Junior Chamber in 2016.
