Matt Clemons is the Director of Admissions at the Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, he earned his BA Degree from George Fox University and after finishing college taught English in South Korea for two years.
Upon returning to the U.S. Matt began his administrative career in admissions and financial aid, a field he has now worked in for over 25 years at five different institutions in four different U.S. states – Oregon, California, New York and Massachusetts. Early in his career he also earned an MBA degree. Prior to joining Harvard University in 2011 he was the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs in New York City.
