OWAIN SAMUEL

Born in the United Kingdom, Owain was raised and educated on Vancouver Island, on Canada’s West Coast. He attended Shawnigan Lake School and went on to study English Literature at both the University of Victoria and the University of British Columbia. More recently, Owain has completed an executive program from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Emerging Design and Technology with a focus on Smart City Development.

Professionally, Owain has held positions with several leading organizations having most recently served in the Business Development and Partnership capacity  with Virtuo, a PropTech firm based out of Calgary, AB. Prior to that, Owain was the Director of Vancouver Island University's Guangzhou office and helped various recruitment initiatives for a number of other organizations based in the Pearl River Delta. He is the Founder and Director of Samuel Jones Advisors Inc - an educational organization that focuses on strategic advising and mentorship for students and their families.
